ARTÉMIA Communications Inc. (www.artemia.com) announced today that its CEO, Barbara Wichmann, has been named as a 2022 “WBE Volunteer of the Year” by the WBEC-Pacific, a partner organization (RPO) of the National Women Business Enterprise Council
(WBENC).

She received the award for her dedication to supporting WBEC-Pacific’s mission and its members. Ms. Wichmann serves on the WBEC-Pacific Board of Directors as the chair of the Communications Committee as well as the chair of the RPO’s Leadership Forum. She was honored during the organization’s BOLD event on December 13.

“While many businesses are still recovering from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, WBEC Pacific plays a vital role in providing hands-on education to help WBEs develop the skills needed to succeed and excel,” Ms. Wichmann said. “Most importantly, the networking opportunities with fellow WBEs and corporate members are invaluable.
