ARTÉMIA Communications Inc. (www.artemia.com) announced today that its CEO, Barbara Wichmann, has been honored with the “Cornerstone Award,” by WBEC-Pacific, a partner organization (RPO) of the National Women Business Enterprise Council (WBENC).

She received the award in recognition of her commitment to WBEC-Pacific’s mission and supporting other M/WBEs. It was presented during the organization’s virtual “Limitless: Phenomenal Women – Honoring Excellence in Business” event on January 27. She shares the honor with Catherine Smith of K&L Gates LLP and Colleen Bonniol of MODE Studios.

“As a WBE, I believe that it is vital to empower other women and minority business owners to be successful,” said Ms. Wichmann. “I am proud to share this honor with my incredible peers.”

She serves on the WBEC-Pacific Board of Directors as the chair of the Communications Committee as well as the chair of the RPO’s Leadership Forum.
