Overview

BREEAM USA, a partnership between BRE Group and BuildingWise, sought to introduce its sustainability certification standard to the U.S. market as an affordable alternative to existing systems. Limited name recognition among building owners, regulators and policymakers created a significant barrier to entry.

ARTÉMIA conducted market research to identify demand for alternatives and designed a market entry strategy centered on cross-media outreach, stakeholder engagement, and national PR. Efforts included securing high-level meetings with mayoral offices, universities and building companies, while also launching a branded microsite with educational resources, training seminars and peer-to-peer support for assessors.
